Hey Rupert,

I hope all is well! I was just browsing your resource page: rupert.id.au/CEOAugust07/internet-use/index.php

While reading it through, I noticed that you're linking back to OnBlastBlog's blogging guide by Matt Banner… The guide itself is comprehensive, which is nice, but it’s a bit misleading..

For example, he doesn’t say a word about free blogs like WordPress.com and Blogspot. Secondly, he seems to be affiliated with WebHostingHub - which isn’t a recommended WP host either.

Anyways, I thought I’d suggest mine as an additional/alternative resource: websitesetup.org/create-blog/

Feel free to check it out. I go pretty in-depth, but also suggest people to try free blogging platforms first.

Best regards and let me know what you think!

Robert

I am the blogger behind StartABlog123.com.

I am trying to build the go-to resource in the "how to start a blog" niche to help authors, freelance writers, stay-at-home parents, teachers, and all types of entrepreneurs overcome the "technical difficulties" of setting up a blog. In addition to helping readers create blogs, I also offer guidance on everything from blog post ideas to writing great content for B2B and B2C blogs.

I was wondering if you could help me out and add my website to your list of resources (http://www.rupert.id.au/CEOAugust07/internet-use/index.php)? I'd be happy to share and promote the page.

If so, I'd really appreciate it if you could please link to http://www.startablog123.com/.

Please let me know what you think and thank you so much - you have no idea how much I appreciate the support! =)

Kind Regards,

Subject: Quick suggestion for "Internet Use"

Hey Rupert,

I was perusing through your online portal today and really enjoyed your "Internet Use". Great work!

I noticed that you referenced StartBloggingOnline's "Blogging in classroom – How to get started" in the article.

I also love that resource!

In fact, it was one resource that inspired me to create a more thorough and up to date version:
www.OnBlastBlog.com
As Seen on Forbes, Entrepreneur, Huffington Post & SEJournal
Did you sign up to my free Blogging Course?

Hi Rupert,

Hope you are having a great Sunday! I was just browsing your page here:
rupert.id.au/CEOAugust07/internet-use/index.php to find some additional
resources/tips for my new blog post. Great stuff.

However, as a fellow web developer and blogging enthusiast, I couldn’t
help to notice that you mentioned “Weblogs in the Classrooms” which is
no longer available:
det.wa.edu.au/education/cmis/eval/curriculum/ict/weblogs/

It used to be a great resource, so I decided to create a new guide to
classroom blogging, which is located here:
startbloggingonline.com/get-started-classroom-blogging/

If you have some time, have a look at it. If you find it useful or
helpful to your visitors, don’t hesitate to mention it on your page or
replace the broken link :)

Cheers and let me know what you think,
Mike

Hi All,

On the 4 September two Tasmanian Teachers will participate in a voyage to the Antarctica. During the voyage students will be able to track the progress of the ship with an online mapping tool and will be encouraged to submit their questions to askipy@edna.edu.au. Selected questions will be answered directly from scientists on the voyage and posted along with other resources on the website.

Replaced with https://wikiwalter.wikispaces.com/Antarctica some of the links on this site are broken but there are also some interesting working ones as well. I have requested to become a member of this site so that I can update some of the broken links. It will be interesting to see if I get a reply from the organizer.
