When placing images of students on the Internet it is important to preserve
the privacy of those in the photograph.
One way to do this is to apply an Artistic
Effect to the the image using Paint
Shop Pro.
1) Open the image you want to modify
2) Make sure the image is set to 16 million colours. If it is not, you will not be able to apply any Artistic Effects. If you need to increase the number of colours to 16 million use Colours | Increase Colour Depth | 16 Million Colours (24 Bit)
3) Select Effects | Artistic Effects | Brush Strokes... or other effects as you wish.
4) Experiment with different settings for each effect to achieve the effect you wish.
