Open mBlock and click Extenstions, then choose Arduino

 

 

 

Then Click on Boards and choose Arduino Uno

 

 

 

 

Then click Connect > Serial Port > and choose the highest COM number

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We can start with a single LED plugged directly into the UNO board.

If it's put in the wrong way around it just will not work. Nothing bad will happen to the LED or or the UNO.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Simple flashing on and off every second.

Try making it flash in different patterns
